So this is another project that I've been planning to do since May. I made it for Ryan on Sunday and he loves the thing! Super easy, now I just need to find some other colors so I can make some for Morgan and Paige.
His name is Curious George of course. Ryan thinks that is every monkey's name. Oh well.

I finally finished the quilt! I've had the panels done since May and finally finished it a couple weeks ago, thanks to Katey. I would have left it in peices if it weren't for her. She claims she just coached me but really she pinned it all and re-sewed all the parts that I screwed up on. I love her! What an angel. Anyways, Morgan loves it and has been with it ever since. It was so much fun to make!

My little Paige turned one today. I keep looking at her and wonder how it went by so dang fast! She is such a sweet heart. She is very busy and likes to play with anything that isn't one of her toys, like the remote, cell phones, or pretty much anything that is plugged into the wall. She likes to hug her baby dolls and gives some people kisses. I haven't gotten one yet but she loves to kiss Daddy, Ryan and Lexi. She is so good at sleeping which I am soooo grateful for. It has been forever since I have updated this blog! I am not very good about it. My home computer wouldn't let me upload pics onto my posts, and what good is a blog without pictures! Anyways a lot happened obviously. Most recently Mike came home from yet another rotation in Iraq, Morgan just started kindergarten and Loves it!, and Ryan started preschool, and likes it even more than Morgan like kindergarten, and Paige just started walking all over the place. Her 1st birthday is tomorrow! I can't believe my baby is already not a baby anymore...it makes me sad, but she is so much fun! Tomorrow is her well baby check up so I will let you all know how that goes. Anyways, I guess I'm back into blog land...Yay! Here is a picture of Morgan after her first haircut at a real salon. Last weekend we took a little road trip to Vegas to meet our good friend, Brian. It was such a good time. We went to a few shows, gambled a bit, ate some fabulous food and road the roller coaster at the New York, New York, and walked....a ton! Paige is 3 months old now! I can't believe it. She is still such a good baby. She still sleeps through the night and is pretty chill for the most part, until she gets hungry, she can be pretty demanding when she wants food. She is kind of lazy, I put her on her tummy and she will cry for a second and then fall asleep. We love her so much!

I need to vent!!!

So just now I was working in this book with Morg that is supposed to help them learn to read. Well I'm trying to do more lessons a day with her so we can get to the part where she is actually learning words. Well she is like me and gets bored with it super fast. So today I just wanted her to write some "e"s on a paper. Here is how are conversation went...

"k Morg trace my 'e' then write your own on the rest of the line. No, no that a 'g'.

Morg: Why can't you just write them for me?

Me: Because then you won't learn it and I already know it, just write 4 good e's for me.

Morgan: What goodies, ha ha ha?

Me: just finish the line so we can move on to 't'

Morgan: Well I want to cancel this lesson.

Me: We can't cancel the lesson. Just finish the e's and we will be done

Aggg! I was so frustrated and it took like a half hour just to get through these tiny lessons! I seriously can't believe my mom never killed me, because I know I was way worse, I didn't negotiate out of things I scrame and threw fits.

Black Island Farm

Yesterday we went to Black Island Farms with Morgan's preschool class. First they took us on a hay ride and they taught the kids about carrots, onions and sunflowers. And then they picked out their pumpkins from the patch. And then the played in the courtyard where they had animals and these awesome slides.

Melanee tagged me. This one is hard because it doesn't just ask questions, you actually have to think of things by yourself. So here it goes.

1) Ok my sister makes fun of me for this all the time. I am really not anal retentive about many things but if my gas gage gets under 1/4 a tank I freak out. I mean an all out panic attack. I absolutely hate it. The thought of running out of gas terrifies me, so I don't even mess with it.

2) I squeeze the toothpaste tube from the middle. I don't know why. It drives Mike crazy, he always does it from the bottom.

3) I love to crochet. It takes me forever to finish anything but I love it.

4) I never finish or follow through. You all already know this because there is for sure something of yours that I didn't show up for or something I was supposed to do but didn't. I don't know why I am this way. 90% of the thing I ditch out on would have been fun if I just did it. Who knows.

5) I love the Jack Ass movies. Anything with that disgusting humor. Farting and poop are so funny to me. I know as a girl I am not supposed to, but nothing has ever made me laugh harder. So there you go.

6) I drive a mini van. I swore I never would, but it was just so much easier to get kids in and out of and it was super comfy. I love my van! Whoo!

Playin with Lex and Ty

Tonight Katey and her kids came over to our house to play. The kids had a blast. Ryan and Tyson are finally starting to play together and they giggled all night long. Morgan and Lexi gave themselves awesome makeovers and played dress up and put on Hannah Montana makeup, I think they actually put on alllllll of the Hanah Montana makeup. They looked beautiful though. Ty danced a little with his girlfriend, Giant Barbie. We had a fun night! Thanks Katey for coming over! We love you guys!

I'm starting to hate my house!

Ok, so I'm going to vent a little. We moved into this house last December and I loved it, I still love it, but the last few months have been full of problems. The first thing was that out water main got a leak so I had to have some plumber guy come fix it. The next month, July, ( I was pregnant) our I came home one day and our house was hotter than H. So I figure its the air conditioner, no no, its the freaking furnace. Water leaked into it and shorted out the circuit board and then some coils burned out or whatever they do. So there was a bunch of money spent. Then we had some problems with our toilets. Then a couple of weeks ago, thank goodness Mike was home, we had a gas leak on our water heater. We were sitting here and that gas smell took over the house. We left and called the gas company they came and checked. Anyway we spent 2 nights at my parents house. Meanwhile Mike is trying to fix the leak and unpluggs the water heater, or so he thought. He accidentally unplugged the sump-pump and the entire basement flooded. So we spent the rest of that day cleaning out the basement. Anyways so this morning I took Mike to the airport, tried to take a nap, but Paige wouldn't let me so I came downstairs to this..

That is a bubble with water in it under the paint in my kitche. There is a littlr bay window there and the roof is screwed up. Anyways, I'm really mad right now so thanks for reading my venting if you stuck with me thus far.

We have had our share of hard times, but for every hard time there are a few happy times to help balance it out. He is my best friend. He is such a great father to our kids. Watching him with them this last month has been so fun, they adore him. Love you babe!

We didn't date per say. We hung out a little before he went to Korea for a year in the Air Force and then when he came back stateside he got stationed in Albuquerque, so we talked on the phone for a few months then got married. I don't even know how to put a time frame on that!

I do, He isn't big on sweets

Miss Paige was 4 weeks old yesterday! I can't believe it! Why does pregnancy take sooooo long and then once they are born time just flies, it makes me kind of sad. She is still a really good baby compared to our other two. She still sleep a lot which has been fabulous, and when she is awake she just kind of looks around. She has been a little taste of heaven and I love her so much.

Yesterday my cousin Melanee brought her two little kids over for a little while to play. The kids had a great time. We had some 5 buck pizza and they played dress up for awhile. Brent and Haley finally came home! It has been so fun just to see them again. So today we took lunch over to my Grandma's house and ended up picking fruit off her tree for her.

Ryan thought it was super fun to see how big of bucket he could pick up, in his words "I'm super dong" (strong).

I wanted to include a picture of how much fun Ry and I were having but I had issues with both of the pictures. I chose the lesser of two evils, the one with my fat belly sticking out but arms covering the ginormous boobs. The other one was all hooters... so there you have it. Anywho...

Here is my handsome husband up in the top of the tree working hard. I told him to try and make it look like he was having fun and this is what he gave me. Not the most exciting day but it was so good to have all three of us there.

Two Weeks!

Paige had her two week appointment yesterday. I can't believe its already been that long, it goes to fast. She now weighs 9 pounds 2 ounces and is 22 inches tall. That puts her in 70 % for weight and 95% in height. When they poked her little foot to do the PKU test she just puckered up her face for a second and then fell back to sleep. I just love her!

So we've had a fun couple of days with Mike's dad. Yesterday we took the kids over to the hotel to let them swim. They had a blast! Paige and I relaxed on the side of course. It was so good to get out of the house.

Mike is buying a motorcycle today so he got out the old helmet and the kids just had to try in on so I included son pics of that as well. Sorry if these posts don't make sense my brain feel jelloish. Enjoy!

Grandpa and Grandma Bailey

Mike's Dad and Stepmom got here yesterday and will be here just for a few short days. They came over for dinner and my parents brought over some chinese food. It was so good to see Liam and Carrie. The kids were so excited and checked out the window every five seconds to see if they were here yet. When they finally got here Ryan got so excited, my dad was blocking his way out of the kitchen and instead of waiting for him to move Ry ran all the way around the table just to get to them. Then of course they had to show them the bedrooms and every single toy that they own. Ryan got dressed in his Buzz Lightyear costume from last year and wore it for the rest of the night. It was pretty fun. Today Mike took the kids and met his Dad and Carrie at the mall so Paige and I are just Chillin at home for awhile.

Is finally here. She was born yesterday September 3rd at 3:32 PM, weighed 8 pounds 8 ounces and was 21 inches tall. She seems way calmer than Morgan and Ryan so far but who can tell. Morgan and Ryan just love her and have just been staring at her and singing "You are my Sunshine" to her every time she makes a noise. What a little angel. I tried to do a slideshow, sorry.

Morgan had her first day of preschool today. She was sooo excited. She went right in and loved it. Ryan on the other hand was pretty sad that he didn't get to go in with her. He cried and then the whole time she was gone kept saying " I miss Morgie". So we took him to get a bagle at einsteins and he was fine. Ok and does anyone else feel like two hours is a long time for them to be at preschool, I missed her today!

Last night Mike and I went upstairs to check on the kids after we watched a movie and this is how we found them. I love that my kids love each other so much.

I started a blog for each of my kids and for Mike today. I plan on using it more as a journal for the kids so I don't forget everything and Mike so when he leaves again he can post for the kids. So there you go, just in case you were thinking it was weird. You know me!

So I know you have all been waiting on the edge of your seats for this baby to come, right? Lol! Ok so maybe just me, but anywho, I have an appointment to be induced at 6:00 in the morning on Wednesday. So here is the problem...6:00 a.m.? I don't think anything on my body, including my uterus can function that early in the morning, so thismorning I figured I would try anything except for that caster oil stuff to get her out sooner. So if anyone has ANY ideas that would be fabulous. Otherwise I guess Wednesday could work to. Thanks guys!

Shriners and Sizzler

So once a year Ryan gets to go to Shriners Hospital in Salt Lake to have his foot checked. For those who don't know, he was born with a clubbed foot. So yesterday was his once a year appointment and it went fabulous. The doc says that it shouldn't hold him back at all and that the size difference is better than expected, and his flexibility in his foot is good. They were really amazed that he really doesn't favor his other foot at all, he actually uses the clubbed one more. Anyways, the kids were both excited because they got to pick a stuffed animal to bring home, and they gave us cookies and punch because of the long wait. He did really good and had everyone there giggling at him. So I brought my mom along with me, because she is a physical therapist and knows all the right things to ask as I just sit there and listen with no questions at all. She was super sweet and took us to Sizzler for lunch. Here a picture of the kiddos there. Morgan was bawling because she wanted to sit by Ryan, so we let them sit together and they were both super happy about it. I think they were so happy yesterday just to be out of the house for once!!!

Camping

My good friend Kristina invited us to go camping with her family for the 24th. For those of you that don't know, the 24th of July is a holiday in Utah, it Pioneer Day. Anyways, we went camping up American Fork Canyon. It was beautiful! and it was sooo nice to get away from town. We only stayed one night. My kids had tons of fun!!.....during the day. They took turn freaking out all night. I fell asleep as the sun was coming up, so I decided instead of staying until Sunday we left Friday morning. Morgan and Harley coloring

Happy 4th of July!

Happy 4th everyone! We had a pretty fun day. We woke up and went to the Kaysville parade with my sister Trudi, and my cousin Stephanie and her husband Joel. My poor kids got pushed out of the way by this stupid lady gathering candy for her kids, so they didn't get very much, but they had a good time. Then we rushed over to Layton Park so that Morgan could do her dance. Everyone came to watch her. My little sweety just stood there with the maddest look on her face the whole entire time. After it was over, we asked her why and she said "well I didn't see you guys" I think she thought we just left her there. Anyways after that we headed over to my grandma's for a brats and ribs barbeque, and for fireworks. Ryan loved it all! Morgan on the other hand was even scared of the sparklers. It was a pretty good day though. We just wished Mike could be there so bad! We are all going crazy without him. Ok and I can't figure out how to get the underline to go away. Sorry!

Pink Eye

Last week my poor little kids got pink eye. Morgan woke up on Wednesday Morning with her eye all gooey. I made her an appointment with the doctor for Thursday and then that morning both Morgan and Ryan had The Gooey eyes. So we went in, and sure enough it was pink eye. It went away pretty quick with the antibiotics, thank heavens!

Uncle Brent

Brent and Haley suprised us by showing up at home for the weekend. They are living in Arizona right now and decided to come home for my cousin's wedding reception. Uncle Brent was so nice and set up the new sprinkler that Grandma got. The kids had a blast with him, and it was so great to have the whole family together for the weekend.

Girls Night Out!

On Friday night my friend Kristina's husband took her boys to a Father and Son campout so we took the girls for a girls night out. We went to dinner at Applebee's (Ryan was lucky and got to come with us to that part.). We were going to go see Horton at Kaysville theater but got out of dinner to late, so we ended up taking the girls to the Classic fun Center instead. We had an absolute blast!

PeeWee Soccer

Thursday Morgan was supposed to start PeeWee Soccer. I get her all decked out in her soccer get up and had her super excited about it, and nobody showed up except for one other kid. There was no coach and no phone calls. We were both pretty mad about it. Hopefully we can figure out was in the devil is going on.

My good friend Lisel and her family were here for the weekend. It was so nice to see them. On Friday night Lisel and I went to Rumbi for dinner and then just hung out at my house, then on Saturday we took all the kiddos swimming, it was a blast.

We went to the zoo today! It was really nice to get outside after all these crappy, rainy days. Ryan decided he was "scared that" today. Which he said about everything there. But other than that, we had a pretty good day.

Mike and I stayed at the Anniversary Inn in Logan last night. We got the players club suite, complete with a putting green, fusball table and a massive heart shaped bath tub. It was soooo nice just to get away for the night even though it was just Logan. We really didn't do much. We ate at the A&W and just hung out all night. It was just like the good old days. Privacy and Laziness, fabulous. Here are some pics from last night and one of the new Harley Davidson shirt Mike got for me in Georgia. It really looks good with my baby gut! I love it!

Ok so I really suck at bringing my camera to important events, but you all already know that right? Morgan's 4th birthday was on Wednesday. I can't believe she is that old, I cry every time I think to hard about it. We will just blame that on the hormones. Anywho, we didn't do much for her birthday. Wednesday morning Auntie Trudi took her to breakfast and then they went shopping. Morg came home with a new dress, a Polly Pocket and a little bunch of fake flowers that she has been carrying around ever since.Morgan opened her presents from us while Ryan took a nap and then we had a little party for her at my parents house. Not much of a party it was just us and my Mom and Dad. It was so weird and lonely. Brent and Haley moved to Arizona right after the wedding and Trudi had to work so they didn't come. Morgan got a ton or Barbies and ponies. my parents gave her a little scooter. And Mike's dad sent her a dress up chest. Today for her birthday party we went bowling at Fatcats. We want to thank all her little friends, the few of them that there are. Lexi, Harley and Kyler, for coming to her party. The great mom that I am, I forgot to get a freaking cake. Ya, I suck! I'm thinking I need to actually start planning a good party for next year right now in hopes that I actually do something. Anywho. Hope you all are well, we love you, and I promise I will get better at having pictures to post.

Last night my sweet Dad came to mow my lawn for me. Ryan got his little lawn mower and was following him around going "Gampa, wait for me! Wait for me!" I thought it was so funny! and cute! I love my little Ry guy!

Ok, sorry, I haven't quite figured out how to put the pictures where I want them or how to do a slideshow. These pictures are from our trip to California. . Anywho, so smart me decided that we should take the kids to Disneyland. I planned the dang trip over spring break. So we started out and stayed the night in Vegas, we were going to try to eat dinner on the strip....ya funny.... I don't even think there was room to walk there let alone park, so we went to Subway and then swam at the hotel for a while and went to bed. The next day we got to Disneyland. It was 90 degrees all three days we were there. My kids were cranky thee entire time, so we are super lucky that the few pictures we got weren't of them screaming. We waited in line to meet Mickey for like an hour and a half and then Ryan hated him. We got a pic anyway. On the last day there Morgan got spoiled by Daddy he got her face painted and bought her a Cinderella dress. Then we went to Universal Studios one day, and it was ok. We didn't stay long, and went and ate lunch at Hard Rock. I think the high light that day was meeting Sponge Bob. Then we went down to San Diego, I didn't get any pictures there. We did Sea World and The Zoo in one day. It was so crowded you couldn't get in to see anything. So we cut our trip a few days short and came home. This probably sounds like the whole thing sucked. It really didn't, the most fun times were just not at the theme parks. I think we had a better time when we were just playing in out room. So there was our trip! Better Katey? Hope all is well with everyone. I will try to be better at updating this thing.

Last Saturday we decided to get outside to do something. We took the kids to the Hardware Ranch up past Brigham City. You get to take a sleigh ride and they show you a bunch of Elk and teach you all about them and the Ranch. We got up there and the parking lot was full but it seemed like everyone was ther for snowmobiling so we went and got our tickets, harched back down to where the line started and found that the line went clear back to the road. We waited for at least an hour and it was freezing! We were going to leave but Morgan was so excited about it. Once we got on the sleigh thing it was fun. These first pictures are ones that Morgan took with her little camera.

I don' t think Mike will appreciate me putting this one up, but its one of the few pics that morg has taken where the person actually has a head. So he'll get over it

So it it 7:30 in the morning, monday, and I have been up all night. Morgan developed an ear infection and didn't say it hurt until 8ish when we were leaving my Grandma's. This concerns me a little because she has tubes in her ears. So all night she layed on me and leaked ear fluid all over me. Then at 6:30 this morning Mike decided to wake me up to help find his keys and then Chester decided to puke and poop all over his kennel. I went to clean it up and he tried to bite me, and then I took him out and he tried to run away. I was was yelling out the front door and he came right back, I think he got to scared, anyway, he ran right back into the kennel and won't come out and keeps baring his teeth at me. So the puke and poop remain down in the basement. I also have a little morning sickness and don't know if I could get close enough to clean it anyway. I am sooosooo tired!
